Terms of Service
Last updated: 13 January 2026
These terms govern your use of Savin Hood's services. By using Savin Hood, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.
1. What Savin Hood is
Savin Hood is a tool for understanding your UK tax position. We help you:
- Calculate tax, National Insurance, and take-home pay
- Explore scenarios like pension contributions and salary sacrifice
- Track your income throughout the tax year
- Identify potential tax traps and optimisation opportunities
We're a calculator and planning tool. We're not accountants, tax advisers, or financial advisers.
2. What Savin Hood is not
Savin Hood does not provide financial, tax, or legal advice.
Our calculations are based on publicly available UK tax rules and rates. We aim for accuracy, but:
- Tax rules change, sometimes without notice
- Your personal circumstances may affect what applies to you
- We cannot account for every edge case or exemption
- Calculations are estimates, not guarantees
You are responsible for your own tax decisions. If you're unsure about anything, consult a qualified tax adviser or accountant.
3. Your account
You're responsible for:
- Keeping your email address secure and up to date
- Any activity that happens through your account
- The accuracy of information you provide
- Complying with UK law when using the service
You must be at least 18 years old to use Savin Hood.

- Impersonate others or provide false information to us
- Use the service in any way that could damage, disable, or impair it
5. Accuracy and your responsibility
We work hard to keep our calculations accurate and up to date with current UK tax law. However:
- Tax legislation changes regularly
- Individual circumstances vary widely
- We may make mistakes or encounter bugs
Always verify important calculations independently. Don't rely solely on Savin Hood for decisions with significant financial or legal consequences.
If you spot an error, please let us know at support@savinhood.com.

11. Third-party services

12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, notify you through the service.
Your continued use of Savin Hood after changes means you accept the updated terms.
13. Governing law
